His comments of the last few weeks have pulled back the curtain and, accordingly, he is sinking in the polls.

It won’t work....the voters don’t want a politician this time...no way...no how. Could even backfire & hand Trump Iowa where he could then run the table.
I would agree with all that except that as a last resort I believe that over the last three weeks the GOPe also tried to drive up Cruz’s numbers and focus on him. There were numerous stories about how “Cruz can really win it.” Now, I believe he can win it-—but I don’t think that was the purpose of the stories. The only purpose of those stories was to derail Trump and Cruz was just next in line.
Trump will withstand this assault because millions of people are there for him.
Once he shows he is tougher than the entire establishment he will have shown just how tough he is and definitely qualified to be president.
If I were his opposition I would be terrified of the Trump payback. going to be ugly,ugly,ugly.
