This has absolutely NOTHING to do with Islam. No, really! I mean it! Nothing, absolutely NOTHING to do with Islam, Hadiths, Sharia, Old Mo’, jihad, taqqiyah, misogyny or anything like that!
He was just having a bad day because some dog crossed his path earlier that day and he mistakenly took his anger out on the girl instead of the dog. But he really loves dogs, too!
He’s frustrated and completely mis-understood. Give him a break. He needs just a few minutes and a smile will return to his face.
