Putin is simply looking out for his country’s best interests in a sober, effective way.
He is in the right place, at the right time to take advantage of the American and European moral and military power vacuum.
Putin is worthy of our respect and admiration as he strongly confronts Islamic threats, however, he is not worthy of our trust.
He is KGB, he misses Soviet supremacy, he has air, land and sea based nukes pointed at us 24 x 7, and he collaborates with China’s military.
God we need Reagan like never before..

Well said. That’s why I no longer praise him; he is not our friend.

Putin loves his country. If he were born and raised a US citizen, I suspect he'd be a loyal warrior for the US.

We have the potential of an American Putin. Someone who will put our country and our traditional values on a pedestal. Don't know why the wannabees don't put their campaigns on hold for four years and let him have the nomination.

Agree completely.

Putin’s a thug. But even a thug can do good things albiet for the wrong reasons.

But he’s still a thug. And what he’s doing, and the fact that it’s being done in the face of practical and moral weakness by our own leadership, portends bad things for us further down the road.
