My response would be ‘gee thanks dad’.

Notice how these things never seem to improve anything noticeable?

$44.5 billion is not what it used to be.

He could give it to NASA if they’d increase speed on Mars programs or something concrete.

I think its likely that before he dies, facebook wouldn’t be worth as much as it does now, so there wouldn’t be much to donate to his daughter

That’s a lot of money and with a lot of power. I suspect the money will go to liberal causes. That kind of money makes Soros look poor.

"their newborn daughter, Max"

Have they decided to raise their daughter as a boy?

"Donate" means put into a non-taxable trust or foundation.

Liberal scumbags using the birth of their own daughter to promulgate a tax dodge in the name of fake generosity.

Oh yeah - their daughter's name is "Max," and I'll bet they dare anyone to question its overt, grotesque, deliberately provocative masculinity.

Everything is an advertisement for Hillary with liberal freaks.

It does smell like a tax scam, a big tax scan to hide more than $44 billion.

You can also bet that with this “donation,” the Democrats will make laws specifically so that this money can cleanly be funneled into Democratic campaigns and liberal causes.

OK, this guy pays 18% income tax.
(instead of 36% for earned income)

perhaps someone could explain exactly
what ‘social good ‘ this guy has performed for society.
that he should pay half the going rate

Facebook has what, 12k employees?

I have a Facebook account, which I stopped using some years ago. Lately, I've been using it to keep in touch with other Ted Cruz supporters, but once 2016 is over, the account will go dormant.

One thing I don't like is that freedom of speech doesn't exist on that site. My account has been suspended a few times without explanation. Since Facebook won't tell me why, I can only assume it doesn't like conservative viewpoints.

My gosh, how did Zuckerberg amass that wealth for Facebook? Outsourcing jobs to places that pay near-slave wages. Bringing in unnecessary H1B workers to undermine US workers.

I'd rather workers getting an honest wage have that money to spend as they choose. Having a bunch of know-it-all billionaires doling it out to pet projects, with very little to show for it, doesn't really help the human condition.

Keep in mind Zuckerberg tried to sell his daughter’s name to Comrade Xi for access to the China market.

This is all media nonsense. I read he will give less than a billion a year or some such. That the vast majority of his wealth is staying in his hands for decades.
