Not only that. If you topple Assad, who or what do you replace him with. If that regime fell tomorrow ISIS would own Syria. Who would you rather have in charge ISIS or Assad?
Look what happened in Libya. They got rid of a vile, murdering dictator and replaced him with a bunch of vile murdering gangsters.
