Tis been observed the two documents most in need of “interpretation” is the Holy Bible and the U.S. Constitution... for when one does not like what is written... it must need “interpreting”. Some (mostly of leftmind) argue government restrictions can be placed for a “compelling government interest”. But... what if the “compelling government interest” is totalitarian control? This “reason” can be used to “interpret” the 2nd Amendment (and the others) into oblivion. The Founders understood (seems lost to many these days) that the protection of our Constitutional rights is ultimately the responsibility of WE THE PEOPLE, not government. Hence the wisdom of the 2nd Amendment! Hated by the Liberal Statists (Reid, Obama, Hitlery, DemWits) because it’s the Guardian of the rest of the sacred document! God bless America.
