Islamic State fighters have captured swathes of eastern Afghanistan in a drive to establish a new province of the group's self-styled caliphate on territory straddling the border with Pakistan.
Up to 1,600 fighters pledging allegiance to Isis are ruling much of four districts south of Jalalabad with the same ruthlessness that characterises the group's regime in Syria and Iraq: public beheadings, strict adherence to Koranic teachings foreign to Afghanistan, and extortion.

Can you imagine a Toyota add about any of their trucks that survived a US air strike?

No....ISIS was well under way In Afghanistan back in September 2014....and part of the reason Russia began serious bombing.....A band of former Taliban fighters, had united with the Afgahnistan Government previously, but then as ISIS began going into Afghanistan they changed sides claiming allegiance to the Islamic State and began fighting their former comrades for dominance.
Where did they get their battle gear? Probably same place sayeed got his.

Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour was reportedly killed in battle earlier this week but the terror group denied the claim.
