Everything positive that's happening is a result of Trump's "populist rhetoric" .
Everyone else is parroting, like Cruz the me too/ what about me, wannabe Trump candidate or they're playing catch up to his "populist" popularity. Even Hillary is talking about inversion, a subject Trump brought up and talks about frequently.
The reason for the Obama address last night and the fact he (reluctantly) called the California massacre "a terrorist act" is a result of Trump's "populist rhetoric". Not to mention Trump publicly calling Obama out for not calling it like it is.
Not yet elected Trump has done more for the direction, the dialog and (positive) mood of the country than ALL of the elected representatives combined, including Cruz.

You are misinformed. Cruz has been ahead of Trump in action as well as words often. When it came to defending Christian freedom. When it came to Syrian refugees, and Cruz's long stance on immigration (if you would only take the cotton out of your ears) is the conservative, right one -- enforce the laws that exist, which means deporting illegal aliens who are apprehended. PERIOD. He's held that stance for a very long time. Only eight years ago, your guy had effusive praise for Hillary and Bill Clinton!
