Well... much as I like Jefferson, we live in a lot more complex world than we did back then.

Our government has gone to hell in a hand-basket, and there’s a lot of things to address. We will need a person with top level CEO experience > IMO.

Jefferson was Governor of Virginia during the Revolutionary war. He also was essentially CEO of Monticello. So he had some executive experience prior to being President.

Cruz needs experience, as compared to Trump? Right.

They think that the BS they post will help Trump somehow. I think it will only turn off people from voting for him.

.
>> “Ted Cruz has no CEO experience” <<

Actually false (like almost everything you post).

As Solicitor General he headed the entire litigation arm of the state of Texas, and established a record as the most successful defender of the rights of Americans in the country’s history.

>> “He has no track record in advanced leadership.” <<

LOL! - See above.

Trump will do nothing but issue thoughtless bombastic hip shots, as he mostly has been doing.

They tickle the fancy of the Low/No info voter.

Trump has little to no understanding of the implications of his bombast, most of which is crude parroting of what he has heard Cruz discuss in the past.

Trump will never be elected to anything, due to the fact of close to 2/3 of voters being aware of his ineptitude.

Yep, Cruz is made to order on this.

He has real leadership experience, not years of crony billionaire swindler pay-offs to criminal elected officials.

But far less than Cruz to be sure.

Jefferson’s chief experience was in Mathematics, Astronomy, and Engineering.

In particular, he was the mastermind of the Land Division and Surveying scheme of the US, which is still in use to this day.

Okay, so we have two people that can’t read and comprehend truth after having done so.

Thanks for playing.

Ok, so in your mind this compares favorably to Donald Trumps leadership experience.  Have you tried stand up?  You obviously have a knack for it.

Office of Solicitor General

As the chief appellate lawyer for the State of Texas, the Solicitor General supervises all appellate litigation on behalf of the Office of the Attorney General. The Office of Solicitor General (OSG) approves all civil and criminal appeals in state and federal courts involving the state, its agencies and its officials. OSG also directly handles those appeals determined to be most significant to Texas and to the development of federal and state jurisprudence and appears on occasion in federal and state trial courts on matters implicating the state's most critical interests. In addition, OSG regularly authors amicus curiae briefs for submission to the U.S. Supreme Court and other courts across the nation.

The Solicitor General is the state's chief litigator in the U.S. Supreme Court and the Texas Supreme Court.
In addition, as a member of the Attorney General's executive leadership team, the Solicitor General serves as a top legal advisor to the Attorney General and advises other agency lawyers and state officials on complex constitutional and other legal matters.

Established in January 1999, the Texas OSG is expressly modeled after the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice. The federal OSG was created through the Statutory Authorization Act of June 22, 1870, which provides that "[t]here shall be in the Department of Justice an officer learned in the law, to assist the Attorney General in the performance of his duties, to be called the Solicitor General."

The Texas OSG appears regularly before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the intermediate state courts of appeals. Since 1999, OSG attorneys have presented hundreds of oral arguments in the U.S. Supreme Court, the Texas Supreme Court, the en banc Fifth Circuit, and other federal and state courts—including arguments before every intermediate court of appeals in Texas.  OSG has won numerous Best Brief Awards from the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) for briefs filed in the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Solicitor General of Texas is supported by two deputies, over a dozen assistant solicitors general and a highly dedicated support staff.

"Won't it be wonderful when President Cruz appoints Supreme Court judges and Federal judges who follow the U.S. Constitution, just like him?"

Lol, Like John Roberts? John Roberts should be a quick confirm By Ted Cruz

Gee, I wonder if we dug up some quotes of Trump from 2005, how would that compare to what you linked Cruz to writing? You really want to play that game? Comparing what The Donald was saying during that time to one instance where Cruz backed the wrong conservative pick for SC?

Please don’t. I’m actually trying to forget how much he (Trump) sounded like a LIBERAL during that time.

Excuse me but how does the following paragraph disprove the claim editor-surveyor made in post 30, namely that Cruz has plenty of leadership experience:

The Solicitor General is the state's chief litigator in the U.S. Supreme Court and the Texas Supreme Court. In addition, as a member of the Attorney General's executive leadership team, the Solicitor General serves as a top legal advisor to the Attorney General and advises other agency lawyers and state officials on complex constitutional and other legal matters.

The rest of what you posted to him also demonstrates leadership experience whether you realize it or not.

It's absolutely ignorant to claim Cruz's leadership experience is insignificant and/or can't be compared to Trump's. Since when did being a CEO of a corporation become the only way to demonstrate leadership ability?

How many cases has Trump tried (and WON) before the SUPREME COURT?

A teamster shop steward compares favorably to Trump.

At least they are looking out for someone other than themselves.

Trump is a big Real Estate shyster.

And that’s why so many corporations around the world invite his management team in to run their establishments.

Gotcha... thanks.
