I don’t like Emanuel, never have. But having said that, resigning is the worst thing he could do. We don’t change leaders this way, based on protests. We change them at the ballot box. But since he’s a democrat Chicago Mayor, I’m reasonably certain he’s not resigning.
Yes, if he resigns, then Chicago gets a mayor that is acceptable to the BLM revolutionaries. And that would be 100 times worse. And he would only be the first of many they would go after.
Emanuel needs to get in touch with the ghost of Richard Daley and tell the checkerheads to take their billys and give out some wooden shampoos.

I like him right where he is...on his home turf and getting his butt kicked by one of his own core constituency groups. Hope it is a long and painful process.
