Save that Ammo Windy. After a couple days on the range, you have as many skills as you will be able to use effectively, in a crisis situation. At least as far as a range will teach you. Better to keep the bullets to use where and when they are needed.
When the SHTF it will be up close and personal, not long distance at unmoving targets.
I hear ya. I've always been a decent shot. Going to the range and 'killing' targets is more for my mental health, at this point.
The wife and I keep a minimum stock of SHTF ammo. Anything over that is for Dad's 'therapy' sessions ;-)
