I agree and that is what is keeping me from supporting him fully, the H1b needs to just die, it is not the Governments job to play matchmaker.

[ Do it like Japan, the Government there allows companies to hires those who have a visa however they pay 25% more to each foreigner they hire, they do not have a oversized foreigner workforce for a reason which is that. ]
Japan actually seems to want to preserve it’s culture and protect it’s workers, well despite some of their crazy fiscal policies that got them in trouble, at least they are more unified as a people, look at the aftermath of the tsunami and how people helped instead of looted.

Increase prevailing wage for H-1Bs. We graduate two times more Americans with STEM degrees each year than find STEM jobs, yet as much as two-thirds of entry-level hiring for IT jobs is accomplished through the H-1B program. More than half of H-1B visas are issued for the program's lowest allowable wage level, and more than eighty percent for its bottom two. Raising the prevailing wage paid to H-1Bs will force companies to give these coveted entry-level jobs to the existing domestic pool of unemployed native and immigrant workers in the U.S., instead of flying in cheaper workers from overseas. This will improve the number of black, Hispanic and female workers in Silicon Valley who have been passed over in favor of the H-1B program. Mark Zuckerberg’s personal Senator, Marco Rubio, has a bill to triple H-1Bs that would decimate women and minorities.
Requirement to hire American workers first. Too many visas, like the H-1B, have no such requirement. In the year 2015, with 92 million Americans outside the workforce and incomes collapsing, we need companies to hire from the domestic pool of unemployed. Petitions for workers should be mailed to the unemployment office, not USCIS.
The Cruz flip-flop has to do more with political expediency than anything else. He still receives his support from the Club for Growth and Goldman-Sachs, two of his largest donors.

The Free Traitor Idiots don’t realize that “Free trade” only works between the States (One of the reasons of the constitution existence) and ONLY other countries with similar development levels, regulation levels and cultural levels.
Right now we could only get away “Free trading” with about 1/2 to 1/3 of the “1st world countries”. (Canada, the UK, Germany Maybe?)
Free Trading with countries like Mexico and China is literal Economic Suicide.
True Free trading can help bring countries that are 3rd or 2nd world up to 1st world, but the problem is in the process they bring us down along the way and they skip some of the “hard life” lessons they really need to learn along the way. We need to look after our OWN country first and foremost.

Exactly! As the article notes “If labor shortages did occur, industry leaders feared, higher wages would be required to hold present workers and to entice younger workers to aspire to enter these skilled occupations.” It’s exactly what has and is happening, be it H1-B’s or the illegals. Wages have not risen in many years in any of the lines of work that have companies hiring people from other countries who are quite content to work for far LESS than the going rate.

The politicians promise everything to get elected but don’t deliver. What have we got from a Rep controlled Congress? Boehner, McConnell, and now Ryan provide Obama with victory after victory. They have already provided Obama with the funding he needs for the remainder of his term.

How about Trade and Ted Cruz? He undermined our entire constitutional process when he voted to give Obama TPA and end the required 60 votes always needed before. He’s pro lopsided trade like Nafta & TPP. There was no ‘mistaken’ vote like he lied about..he promoted TPA with Ryan.
Cruz and his wife have always been aligned with and worked for the neocon liberal wing of the GOP.
So you LOVE the way he speaks. He speaks like a southern Baptist minister/lawyer and we are not electing a preacher or a lawyer. He is trained to con you as a lawyer...do you understand that? He’s changed too many of his policies DURING this election.
