Yeah, he had a real moral dilemma on his hands-whether to leave Mary Jo quickly, or say goodbye before leaving her to drown alone?

It’ll show him to be the “true victim” absolutely.

I guarantee you they won’t show him waiting to get help or swimming back to shore to avoid questions. A total whitewash.
