During a segment on her Monday MSNBC show using the third anniversary of the Newtown school shooting to demand gun control, host Andrea Mitchell pleaded for national legislation: "Andrew Cuomo, the governor who passed really tough gun legislation in New York....Yet he has said that it is impossible task because you can't do it state by state."
She claimed states that support gun rights were to blame: "It has to be a national conversation because those guns just come in, in people's trunks from the south and they are actually more valuable because they get sold on the black market in New York City..."
Fellow MSNBC anchor Kate Snow agreed: "Right, one state's law doesn't stop the next state - someone in the next state from having a gun."

So why do these southern states have much lower crime than NYC with all those evil guns floating around????
Do Andrea or other liberals ever blame the youth gangs and other God forsaken people, who actually perpetrate gun violence?? Do they have any responsibility for the life choices they make, which often include a gang lifestyle? A lifestyle in which all slights, real and imagined, are dealt with by violence???
I hope Mrs. Greenspan will remember....

And how do the liberals explain Paris? France has the strict gun laws liberals want, covering the whole country of France not just in individual regions of France.

In all seriousness I thought Andrea Mitchell was pushing 65 back in the eighties . . .
And fully automatic Sten guns, produced overnight in a small machine shop, will come in the same way. They’ll be even more valuable, and impossible to trace. ................................. LOL, You got that right. If there is money to be made that way, I bet there are some Russians in Brooklyn ready to set up shops in their basements.(If they haven’t already)

We have “magic” guns here in the South...once they are taken north of the Mason-Dixon line, they come to life and start shooting people. I guess we should have printed a disclaimer on the barrels.
It is brilliant that they understand how something illegal but wanted by the public becomes more valuable. They should have learned that about cigarettes. NY lost tons in taxes when people started buying their cigarettes in NJ.
Remember the fat guy who died from a heart attack when cops tried to arrest him for selling single cigarettes? There was a market for what he was selling.
