Don't confuse an alliance of mutual interest with a blessing of ones political system. Now is not the time for that. For right now at this moment in history the political and ideological differences must take a back seat to face a threat that needs solving.
IT IS KILLING TIME!!! When the enemy is defeated we may then take up the subjects of political discourse and disagreement. War makes strange bedfellows.
Israel, Egypt (Suez Canal), Jordan, and perhaps Lebanon should be our only concerns in the region. Perhaps the Kurds and their desire for a Kurdish state as well.
And to any of those who would say Saudi Arabia is an interest of ours; I would say the only interest we have in Saudi is in its’ ceasing to exist as it is currently occupied.
As for our old cold warriors...nostalgia is a powerful force. Thus the huge classic car industry. They just long for the old days of the Triad. :-)
Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush are two "white Obamas." Hillary will give the #Blacklivesmatter street thugs everything that they want, Jeb will give the Council of La Raza agitators what they went. What does Trump, whatever his flaws, have to do with this?
Because Trump is a white identitarian just as Obama is a Black identitarian. Unlike you (apparently), I don't identify conservatism with white ethnicity, culture, or civilization, but with A-mighty G-d and His Laws.
White people did not invent G-d. They did not invent morality. They did not invent heterosexuality. Unfortunately Obama has brought the latent civilizationism out of American conservatism and now we are seeing even on Free Republic insinuations that if the white race passes G-d will pass too. I have news for you: G-d was already here. The Bible was already here. The notion that G-d is simply an idea come up with by "the West" is going to get us punished, and badly. We're already being punished; I have no desire to see any more added to what we're already experiencing.
If you didn't know already, then pay attention: I oppose all non-Theistically based moral/ethical systems. That's what Communism is, and that is its fundamental error--not that it's cruel, or tyrannical, or oppressive, but that it's non-Theistically based. All such systems are inherently tyrannical because they are arbitrarily created by bags of meat on their way to the grave. This goes for Communism, Randism, civilizationism, libertarianism--everything. An atheist is an atheist is an atheist.
I begin to suspect that you are a retread from the Bad Old Days here come back under another name and being very careful.

Why are you so bothered by Trump's (so-called by you) "white identitarianism," but you aren't upset by the way that Jeb Bush, the favored candidate of the Republican National Committee, has built his campaign around pandering to Mexican/Chicano identitarianism? How is supporting a candidate who wants open borders supposed to help (in your view) make America more moral and godly?

The United States is not a theocracy, and the Constitution is not a theocratic document (it neither prohibits nor establishes any specific religious beliefs). Does this mean that to you, the concept of a Constitutional Republic is morally equivalent to a Communist country?
