And what about the PONTIACS still on the road. Especially the postwar models that had as a hood ornament a clear plastic head of an Indian Chief that would glow bright RED when the headlights were turned on. Also the Chevy pick-ups in the late 50's were called APACHES. Not to mention some of the bikers that hang out at our local shows and cruise nights proudly riding INDIAN motorcycles.
