I have no doubt - none whatsoever - that Team Bush and Team Clinton will work together, possibly even with Jeb as Hillary's VP, to try to pull something like this off.

The David Duke analogy is absurd.... I quit reading at that point.

What these geniuses can’t see is that what made David Duke David Duke was his history as a Klansman, and his rhetoric.

As soon as I saw “1991” I stopped reading. These morons think they are going to stop Trump with something from a 25 year old playbook. Trump is writing his own rules and nothing will stop him but himself which is not very likely.

I am in favor of anyone who can jerk victory out of Hillarys mouth and leaves her gasping for breath!
If Trump is the guy, great, he's got my vote!
Her obvious belief that it is her turn to be president just p!$$es me off so bad!

BTW, this article is asinine.

The GOP-E wants a fight, they got one.

We’re sick of being led by stupid people—the omnibus bill passed yesterday as a case study.

That was 1991, a far different America than we have now.

The “republican establishment, and. Democrats...” Banded together, but Trump has the momentum of the people, and the people now have learned the tyranny of the combined republican establishment, the democrats, and the media.

In 1991 we didn’t have the Muslim problem, no did we have an America that had been taken to its knees by the Muslim-in-chief...in 1991, not only would Duke been rebuked as president, but so would have Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

A LOT of things are different now, and some of those old ideas just won’t work anymore. He’s no David Duke. When he speaks of immigrants, it’s about the crimes, Muslims, it’s about the terrorism, and having listened to most all of his speeches, he barely says anything about blacks, at all.

It’s just the left, digging their old “racism hammer” out of the dust bin and brushing it off to again batter a conservative. It used to work better, but now it’s about as effective as a “nerf” hammer would be.

But the progressives keep gathering in groups to work out their latest and greatest “dump Trump” schemes, but nothing is taking hold. So far, Trump has the people, and when you’ve got enough of the people, you’ve got everything.

No. trump folks just don’t care about his past. I mean, heck, if proposing a 14.25% wealth tax doesn’t get you disqualified as a Republican, WHAT DOES??

Why oh Why would the Boston Globe want to stop Trump?

Of course Islamic princes don't like him, nor does the GOPe, the Inside the Beltway democrats and republicans don't either.

The gope republicans want their "boy" Rubio elected. If not him, Hillary would make them just as happy in office.

Keep taking the cheap shots at Trump, every time it happens his ratings go higher.

Joanna Weiss is lamenting the loss of press power... in the old days press boys and girls could get together and destroy candidates... of either party but usually Republicans. Today the MSM’s dripping hatred is ineffective - the press’s power was destroyed by their obvious bias and untrustworthiness... The MSM IS David Duke... Weiss's choice of victim is different... everything else is the same.

In the last debate, Hugh Hewitt a closet Rino tried to gotcha Trump with the question on the military triad.

Here is the only triad that is important illegal immigration, terrorism, the economy. The economy is in recession and the markets will probably go down by 50% by next November. These are all Trump’s strengths. Trump will win Iowa,NH and run the table on super Tuesday. Trump will win the presidency because this economic triad overrules anything else. As each day goes by this economic triad makes Trump stronger and stronger. By the time Iowa comes around Trump will be in the mid 40’s approval all because of the economic triad the only triad that counts

Trump is so far from racist. Each season of celeb apprentice had about as many blacks as white contestants. And they did very well, better than blacks did on reality shows where America votes. Even when I was begging the screen for Trump to get rid of some of those obnoxious women, Trump would keep them on (possibly just for drama).

Nobody needed David Duke and his Klan schtick in 1991.
Blacks weren’t bothering anybody, with the exception of the Bloods and Crips who were trying to exterminate each other in the cities. At its worst, gang activity in Louisiana never approached the level of Chicago or the coasts.
In the rural areas, southern folks people are laid-back, churchy, and get along fine. Louisiana blacks are descended from slaves who stuck around the plantations as sharecroppers after emancipation, because the tropical heat and slower pace suited them. The culture was/is rooted in African and Caribbean black culture. Jazz and delta blues are embraced by whites.
Plus, the Klan’s hate-trifecta is Blacks, Jews, and Catholics. So right there, he’d already lost south Louisiana below the I-10.
He was hanging around LSU when I was there in the 70s, trying to recruit for the Klan. He was a laughingstock even then.
Nobody took him seriously, ever, except the idiots like this author who still claim the Klan somehow “represents” the South.

Trump is addressing real threats. Terrorists really do want to kill us, the PC crowd really does want to tear up the Constitution. The Marxists and jihadists really do want blood in our streets. Our “leaders” really are emasculating our military and encouraging its infiltration by people who despise America.
So, no, Trump isn’t another David Duke.
