Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton outlined a plan to cure Alzheimer's disease by 2025 at her final campaign stop before the Christmas holiday in Iowa today.

The proposal highlights increasing annual funding to $2 billion for the next 10 years with the goal of developing a cure by 2025.

"The best scientific minds tell us we have a real chance to make groundbreaking progress on curing this disease and relieving the pain so many families feel every day. My plan will set us on that course," she said.

She is hedging her bets for a 2024 run...

Because she probably already has Alzheimers...

Alzheimer’s is a loathsome disease.

Hillary must have been diagnosed with it to give a crap about it. Otherwise she would be content to have the Obamacare death panels deal with them.

Why stop there? Why doesn’t she promise to cure cancer, heart disease and Alzheimer’s by 2025? Instead of a $2 billion program, why not have a $30 billion program to cure it by 2020? Why not a $100 billion program to extend peoples’ lives by 5 years by 2025?

These Dem government spending bidding wars ring so hollow anymore. At least with me.

“Do ya think she has 10 more years in her?”

I’m not sure (or maybe I just hope) she will make it through next year

That’s very do-able, especially since she thinks it’s 1992.

Funny how lawyers think they can cure diseases simply by becoming elected government officials.

Cure? Does she think her undying support for Obamacare is helping the Healthcare Industry?

Contradictory at best. Try again.

She’s saying this because we are mst likely to having the cure anyway and she wants the JFK moment. When in reality this would be like the president announcing in 1968 their plan to land a man on the moon before 1978.

What an opportunistic person. Attaching herself to something she has no role in.
