I dont see Trump as a recycled Reagan (seems much more a moderate pragmatist than a real conservative)...
but Reagan did attract the ‘working class’ vote
(will this be enough? There are so few working people nowadays...and so many more on the public dole)

Most people outside of the midwest don’t really know the devestation that NAFTA, GATT, and favorable trade status with china caused, and the clintons and bush41 own it.
If Trump went to Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Pennsylvania, and drove that point home, he would shut out virtually every other candidate.

"... and secondly his issue on trade against NAFTA and GATT and these trade deals. If you run against NAFTA and GATT and hang them around Hillary Clinton's neck in Pennsylvania and Ohio and Michigan I think you could do very well there among working class Democrats." And you can hang NAFTA & GATT around Republican necks too!
The GOPe was quite vociferous in supporting these "trade deals" if I recall correctly.

interesting thought- I suppose he might just be able to get some middle class dems onboard where he knows about creating jobs- This could offset any women voters he might lose because of his comments about hellary

Isn’t that interesting? Trump once called Buchanan a “Hitler lover.”

Don't know if you're old enough to remember Captain.. but I believe we're getting ready to see Trump do to Hillary what Reagan did to Mondale in 1984.
Popular vote
Reagan - 58.77%
Mondale - 40.56
Electoral vote
Reagan - 97.58%
Mondale - 2.42%

I thought that the dems had become the non-workingman’s party decades ago. Are there any working class dems left?

he normal pattern of basically moderate conservative Republican against centrist Democrat. "Centrist" democrat? Who would that be? Hillary, Sanders, Barry Soetoro, Jawn Effin' Kerry, Al Gore? When the heck was the last time a "centrist" democrat ran for President? Kennedy? It has been leftist loonies and traitors all the way back to Johnson.
