Personally, I always thought comic books were a waste of time. . . but at least they were largely innocent fun. Not any more.

I’d hardly call taking it up the ass to be very super heroic...

Ha!

Oh, well. From a superhero who battles Hitler, to a superhero who gets his jollies wallowing around in other dudes’ anuses. A perfect cultural juxtaposition of how far this country has slid into the sewer.

That’s why i stopped reading GL after the Darkest Night arc. It was best for Hal Jordan to stay dead instead of turning into a poofter.

"The industry is catching on pretty quickly to the fact that diversity can improve sales of comics," Josh Siegel, founder of Geeks Out, wrote in an email. "So publishers are evolving their lines of books to showcase queer characters in a number of interesting ways."

Yeah, ask JC Penny how that worked out. Counter-example: Chick-Fil-A is now the top fast food franchise in the US.

Actually, I think it was the old-time Alan Scott GL that they turned homo. But whatever the case, it’s just such a sick, twisted thing to do to a vintage character. I think of all the original creators, artists, and readers from back in the day, and the joy they might have gotten from some morally upright character and adventures. And then some modern piece of human sleaze comes along and re-writes history to make the hero a butt-licking faggot.

It’s almost akin to a rape or molestation. Coupled with spitting in the faces of all those earlier writers and readers. These people in the culture who do such things to peddle their perversions to mainstream their sick depravity are just evil, evil bastards.

This has been done even to Archie comics. Fagifyied

I have a few very old Archie issues. I would not touch any of the contemporary ones.

Archie was always a “good girl” publication and pretty racy in the 1940’s. Comics Code Archies were perfectly innocent fun.

Indoctrination pure and simple. Everything the homonazis touch turns to shiite.

In our home they will join an ever increasing list of banned characters, of books to be burned.

They might be hot fantasy items with the big city faggots, but this isn't Brokeback Mountain out here either (another urbanite fantasy).

Calhoun's mice were prophetic.

Makes you wanna puke eh? I dont know of anyone who actually buys comics nowadays. It’s mostly free for download for any comic on the torrent. I think the last great comic book arcs ended during the late 90’s with Batman’s Hush.

I haven't read any superhero comics since I was a teen about fifty years ago. But in those days most comic heroes were mostly concerned about defeating villains and saving humanity. Sexual orientation was not a topic. I can't recall Batman with a love interest. Superman and Lois Lane is the only superhero-female love relationship I can remember. Even that never got beyond mostly words.

What is it about modern comics that they deem it necessary to give a superhero a sexual orientation? Why in the world do they think it's necessary to know that some superhero is a homo or some sort of transgender weirdo? Do they really think this will increase readership?

If so, this country is totally down the tubes. Who, other than homos and perverts, wants to read about a superhero sexual relationship instead of fighting crime or supervillains. These people are insane.
