I just looked up Smith Training and found a summary at Penhall:
THE 5 KEYS TO SPACE CUSHION DRIVING
Key 1: Aim High In Steering
Key 2: Get The Big Picture
Key 3: Keep Your Eyes Moving
Key 4: Leave Yourself an Out
Key 5: Make sure They See You
That's an excellent list. I was always taught to know everything around you at any second and know exactly where you will head when trouble arises (Key #4).
I’ve been learning a lot from Dog Whisperer. The most intriguing and challenging thing I’ve seen from him is to have a vision of what I want to happen before I enter a room with people. Leader of the pack.
In driving I used what I learned from playing touch football. Keeping people out of my bubble! Being aware of where everyone was and knowing where I wanted to go. Visual learner, too, so that helped. I bet oral learners depend on their hearing a lot.
