A German journalist who spent 10 days with Islamic State says that the radical jihadist group that has captured wide swaths of Syria and Iraq is deterred by only one Middle Eastern country – Israel.

In an interview with the British Jewish News, Jurgen Todenhofer recalls his brief time behind enemy lines during which he spoke with ISIS fighters.

ANYONE can be taken down. All is takes is LOADS of money.
Israel gets half our foreign aid and thus can afford to buy and best weapons in the world, from us and the Russias, of course.

We U.S. taxpayers pay for everything anyway.

Lots of that money is for the offshore development of the anti-missle system. Remember Star Wars back in Reagan’s time? It’s up and working thanks to the Israelis.

That’s odd. Last I heard the Russians didn’t drop leaflets nor care about collateral damage.

‘The only country ISIS fears in the Middle East is Israel’

Yep. That's true. Probably because in their hearts, those that worship the false moongod know that the actual God is on Israel's side. They saw evidence of this in 1967.

Also, those that hate Israel use the codeword “ISIL” to let you know that they hate Israel and stand with ISIS.

One of the few expenditures by our government that I approve 100%. If Israel needs bombs our answer should be, "how many ship loads would you like."

Israel gets $3 Billion a year from the US.

To put that in perspective, Cash for Clunkers cost $3 Billion.

Much of our foreign aid to Israel is spent in the US, with purchases from US defense contractors. And that’s the dirty little secret - our military purchases alone can’t keep military contractors afloat. And, it would not be a great thing if the companies that supply our bullets and missiles went under.

Foreign aid is one way they are propped up.

Guess who makes letter sorting equipment for the post office? Northrop Grumman.

Guess who makes the army’s laser tag system for training (MILES)? Lockheed Martin.

At the National Training Center, there is (for no good reason that I can think of) a civilian company in charge of issuing and taking back equipment of reach training rotation. The name of that civilian company? DynCorp.

Our foreign aid to Israel is just another creative way to prop up the US defense industry...and at least it has some purpose (any company can make letter sorting equipment). So I don’t mind. There is a lot of government waste out there that can be trimmed, before we stop aid to Israel.

“They think they can defeat US and UK ground troops, who they say they have no experience in city guerrilla or terrorist strategies,” he told Jewish News. “But they know the Israelis are very tough as far as fighting against guerrillas and terrorists.”

ISIS laugha at the obama ROEs

Todenhofer said that ISIS was “preparing the largest religious cleansing in history” and that he was “pessimistic” that the threat it poses could be neutralized. He added that the Paris attacks was just the first of “a storm” that is coming to Western cities.

And the West keeps importing muslim immigrants.

“They are not scared of the British and the Americans, they are scared of the Israelis and told me the Israeli army is the real danger. We can’t defeat them with our current strategy. These people [the IDF] can fight a guerrilla war."

The Israeli military has been fighting this type of war fare for 70+ years. They also have no illisions about islam.

“In Mosul there are 10,000 fighters living among 1.5 million people in 2,000 apartments, not in one place – so it would be difficult [for western soldiers] to fight them. ISIS fighters are ready to die in a war against a western soldiers.”

Give me a General Patton, the Marines, the Rangers and the ROE of WWII and it could be cleaned out in a week.

Plus they don’t take no shit from anyone. Their “kick ass, take names” attitude inborn. They remember, they haven’t forgotten to them in the last century and are determined not to make the same mistake.

Unlike our administration (limp wristed, melba toast fagots). They’ve sold some of our weak minded, lazy, gullible citizens into a phony utopia so now our country is dieing. Our stupid citizens have forgot its history and how we got to be who we are. Tiss a sad proposition we have.

True,

Names are very important and they have far deeper connotations, its important what you name your children, and in the Bible God on numerous occasions specifically chose a name or altered the name of someone,

Demonic obama very much desires to have Israel officially included within the area assigned to the islamic state, its a form of recognition and in spiritual wars it serves to empower them.

We U.S. taxpayers pay for everything anyway.

Uh, the U.S. doesn't "pay for everything anyway." While Israel does get about $3 billion/year of military aid from us each year, its military budget was about $23 billion in 2015 - that works out to about 13% of Israel's military budget. That aid is not insignificant, of course, but it helps BOTH sides. The advantage to Israel is clear; the advantage to the US is on multiple levels:

First, the money MUST be spent with U.S. defense contractors, resulting in jobs and tax revenue.

Second, because Israel buys Apaches, F-16s, etc., there are more units purchased, thus lowering the fixed cost of each unit (whether bought by Israel or not) due to R&D costs.

Third, Israel battle tests those weapons systems - and gives us back reports about what needs to be fixed, or how it can be improved. This clearly benefits our military, and saves the lives of our soldiers, airmen, etc.

Oh, and don't forget that Israel actually have the balls to use the equipment. The US has a military budget that is roughly 25 times higher than Israel's, and they ACTUALLY fight a lot of this country's enemies, keeping their attention 7,000 miles away from us while simultaneously degrading their capabilities...plus Israel gives us a lot of intelligence information (which we many times ignore, to our later sorry).

One thing that most people don't know is the effect that the Israeli Air Force had upon the Cold War. In 1982 there was an air battle over Lebanon and Syria in which 79 top-of-the-line Russian-made Syrian jets (many flown by Russians, since the Syrians simply didn't have the time to train in them yet) were shot down without a single Israeli loss. This caused the Soviet military to approach the Politburo and tell them that "We cannot defeat the West - work out the best deal that you can." That single incident led to Gorbachev, and caused the Cold War to end MUCH sooner than it otherwise would have - saving this country HUNDREDS of times the amount of aid that we provide annually to Israel.

While it IS a gift to Israel, I believe that the benefits of that gift are more than repaid in various forms.

Unfortunately God deigned to give the Arabs more money that God. Of course, MOST Muslims are NOT Arabs.

My point is that now the petroleum-rich countries can buy any weapon they want...and the Russians will sell to any weapon to anyone.

Lose-Lose in this "game" of upmanship.

Uh, the U.S. doesn't "pay for everything anyway."

Well, you are correct. $3 billion isn't EVERYthing. WHAT was I thinking? $3 billion of U.S. money going to one country for weapons. Sure, why not?

In reality Israel is run and ruled by Israelis. But there are simply NOT ENOUGH Israelis to do all the work that has be done, so they hire Palestinians, mostly Arab, mostly Muslim.
They seemed (to my eyes) to have a decent rapport. We were there in 2011.
There are also plenty of Christian (all Catholic) Palestinian Arabs too. They are often the "middlemen."

More bombs aren't going to help anyone as ISIS is guerilla warfare. What is needed, perhaps, is a large group of special black ops who can speak and read Arabic.

More bombs to kill ISIS will recruit more fanatics.
But, that's just an opinion. What do I know? We just lived in the KSA for five years.

You CLEARLY chose to focus on only one small part of my response, without considering ANY of the benefits that the US gets from giving the aid in question (and I do NOT question that it is a gift - one that we can ill afford to give). Those benefits significantly, if not completely, offset the cost of the gift.
