I’ve never stopped saying Merry Christmas (except when I knew the other people were not Christians, of course, then out of courtesy I do say Happy Holidays)

I say "Merry Christmas" and have always said it, regardless. I am Christian and I am celebrating the birth of Christ. If non-Christians don't like that, then I guess they won't like it.

But I don't alter my greeting and well-wishes to avoid hurting someone else's feelings. That's a liberal, politically correct approach.
