The Sum of All Fears

resident Obama and members of his administration assure us we have nothing to fear when it comes to terrorism. Whether you accept this, or not -- and opinion polls show a majority do not -- there is another fear that in large part is behind the phenomenon known as Donald Trump. It is the fear we are in danger of losing America.

Speaking as a member of a group that will in this century become a minority in America -- that would be white people -- I don't fear minority status. I fear that those who will soon make up the majority will not embrace the values and traditions that have built and sustained America through wars, economic downturns and other challenges to our way of life.

Yes, yes, I know about slavery and discrimination, but the principles laid down by the Founders, which allowed America's flaws to be addressed and corrected by their posterity, seem to be disappearing.

Many Americans are angry that politicians of both parties seem to have placed their careers ahead of their responsibility to take care of the nation. As Ronald Reagan said, we are just one generation away from losing it all. That's because democracy and equal rights are not the norm in the world. They must be fought for and maintained if we wish to pass them on to our descendants.

Yes, we want immigrants to come to America, but we want them to come respecting our laws (otherwise what are laws for?), to learn English, our history and values and to become -- as earlier immigrants did -- fully American without hyphens.

Many who are native-born want today's immigrants to leave behind ideologies and agendas that do not promote the general welfare. Earlier immigrants and the native-born have invested in America through taxes, blood and sacrificed lives. New immigrants will benefit from those investments and sacrifices and should respect them enough to make investments of their own to preserve what they admire and what has drawn them here.

Two forces are at work, undermining our foundations. One is apathy and the other is a determined assault on the beliefs, traditions, practices and faith that once characterized America. Either one causes harm enough, but when both are in play, we become like a boxer who is pummeled unconscious by a relentless opponent.

Fear can be a factor that motivates to action, or it can cause one to retreat. It seems the people who embrace and practice our historic beliefs and traditions are in retreat, fearful of being called names by the forces of political correctness. "Racist," "bigot" and "intolerant" are three words that cause many to cower, in part because of their inability to disprove a negative.

The most effective response to people operating this cultural and political wrecking ball is to turn the tables. Whose values and beliefs have worked in the past to improve the lot of the people, and whose have failed? Traditionalists don't have to play defense. They have only to remind Americans of the mess the secular progressives have made. Having been handed by the "greatest generation" a nation with numerous opportunities and a bright future, the baby boomers and their progeny set about destroying it on the altar of self-indulgence.

There is barely enough time to begin repairing the damage. The 2016 election is only part of the process. "We the people" remains the most powerful force among us. If our citizens don't pay attention to what is happening, future generations will rightly condemn us.

Fear of losing what we have should motivate traditionalists to begin fighting back against an anti-American tide that is undermining truths once considered self-evident. But they must first win the argument before winning the next election.

Some good lines:

the principles laid down by the Founders ... seem to be disappearing.

I grew up in a time when the vast majority of people in America believed that it was the greatest country on the face of the earth.

Whether you like him or not, many millions of Americans are reminded of how they felt when they listened to Ronald Reagan speak about what it meant to be an American and we feel it again when Donald Trump talks about how he wants to Make America Great Again.

Even if you, or your parents or theirs before were immigrants, you wanted to become an American because being an American was a thing to be proud of the world over.

There were no hyphenated-Americans. If you came here, being an American was good enough. No one was ever asked to denounce the country they had come from, or to forget their heritage. When people came here, they assimilated and became Americans. No one identified themselves as Irish-American, Polish-American, etc. “e pluribus unum.” Out of many, one.

It’s not the same thing as the multi-culti “diversity is our strength” crap those that wish to keep us divided have been force feeding us.

If it’s so important to identify yourself as an African-American or a Mexican-American then why in hell are you in America as opposed to staying in Africa or Mexico? If you want to become an American, then welcome. If you want to bring with you the culture of the place you left and force Americans to adjust to it, go back to where you came from, we don’t want it.

The sad thing is, these people have been taught by those that are using them that their feelings of loyalty and identification should lie with their country of origin rather than where they actually live.

They’re being lied to and it’s not coincidental. United we stand, divided we fall.

There’s a reason we’re still quoting “those old white men” and why so many are trying to erase them from history.

Call them the Left, Marxists, socialists, communists, or whatever else they may be, they know they can only remain in power and succeed in their quest to control every facet of our lives if they can manage to keep Americans divided against themselves and on the verge of civil war.

America’s politicians (the Uniparty) have decided on their own to sign us up with the other “globalist NWO” gang (International Socialists) without our being aware of it, partly because it’s taken place over such a long period of time that it’s taken up till now for us to notice what they’ve been up to.

They are hell bent on “spreading our wealth”, as much of it as need be to ensure that they of “the ruling class” will continue on their “path to heaven on earth” (at least for them).

We’re well on our way to the International Socialists idea of Utopia and too many of us haven’t even realized it yet.

Donald Trump is threatening to expose them and derail their plans and they’re terrified that he’s going to succeed.

If you’re interested in learning how these plans are being implemented in Europe, I highly recommend reading novelist Matt Bracken’s latest essay

Tet, Take Two: Islam’s 2016 European Offensive
http://gatesofvienna.net/2015/11/tet-take-two-islams-2016-european-offensive/

Remember folks, America’s Left and Europe’s Left together equal International Socialism. There’s a reason the Left wants open borders. They need to destroy Nationalism before they can implement their New World Order, where there are no borders or national identities. Only multi-culturalism mixed together in a roiling pot that perpetually keeps everyone at each others throat.

The Left must keep the citizens of a country at odds with each other so they can continue their strategy of divide and conquer (control).

They don’t need to outnumber us if they can keep us divided and that’s exactly what they’ve been doing.

If immigrants don't want to become Americans they should stay where they are.

Don't come here.

We're not opening our country to people who want to transform our wonderful county into the place they came from.

If a Syrian thinks his ideas and culture are better he should STAY IN SYRIA. Same for every other immigrant. If your country is better - STAY THERE. We're 'not your old country' with more wealth and perks - we're a country in our own right.

Want to be an American?

Great.

Want to maintain your old culture? Stay where you are.
