“TRUMP DOESN’T NEED TO BE PRESIDENT TO MAKE MONEY !

Are you admitting then, that Cruz is running to make money? That’s exactly how your post comes off. LOL”

Trump does what is financially best for him. He even invites Clintons to his weddings because it makes him more money(he admitted to that fact).

Everything about the guy is about money. As far as billionaires go, Trump is barely hitting the 5 billion figure, but goes around claiming 10 billion worth. Regardless, he is towards the bottom of the scale within the Billionaires’ club. You have to use just half your brain to figure out that the guy wants to be richer and have more power — thus his quest to be the POTUS. The egomaniacal fraudster has his gullible supporters like you parading around him.

And everything about Cruz is about the US Constitution. He is in the race to be the only true Constitutionalist. Everybody else is either compromised or, worse, a fraud. Trump is a fraud. Plain and simple. Sorry.

This is a reply to Col. Flagg and Ferocious Rabbit, both of whom seem insistent on living in the past. Yes, I have also read Wikipedia and I can tell you Mr. Reagan converted to the GOP 60 years ago and that he served as a Rep. governor almost 50 years ago. That was also back in the days when members of both sides of Congress were civil to each other and were generally more interested in doing their jobs instead of keeping them.

Well, welcome to the 21st century my friends. We are Hell and gone from Jack Kennedy’s “ask not what your country can do for you, etc.”. Today’s political jargon is “gimme”, a dialect that really took off with LBJ’s Great Society. Unfortunately, what used to be the Republican party learned how to speak it, too. And they’ve apparently learned to speak it well as evidenced by the last budget vote. Those in power, conservative or liberal, now know they can stay in office as long as (1) those who finance their re-elections are rewarded, and (2) they can buy the needed votes with taxpayer money. You’re upset that Trump hasn’t paid his dues as a conservative, or that he’s switched parties. But as was shown in my own state when Thad Cochran appealed to Democrat voters to vote against fellow GOP McDaniel in the primary runoff, “Democrat” and “Republican” are only titles that no longer have any meaning to our leaders except when they come home and shuffle the Johns to get re-elected. Political ideology and purity of thought mean nothing to them nowadays. What matters nowadays are the enormous sums necessary for campaigning. I’ve read that a presidential campaign will cost upwards of one billion dollars. And after the election who do you think the winner will be beholden to, you or the deep pockets he’ll need for re-election in 4 years, or 2 & 6 years for members of Congress?

Yes I support Donald Trump, simply because he’s the only candidate least likely to already be in someone else’s back pocket. The fact that he’s also demonstrated his ability to be an effective administrator is lagniappe right now. Look at EVERY other wannabe out there right now, grasping and begging for donations, and tell me who else can make that same claim. Col. Flagg and Ferocious Rabbit, right now I’ll take competence and the chance of a leader not already bought off over anything else being offered at the moment, because both sides have clearly demonstrated that your dreams of days past when political beliefs actually mattered are, at best, punch lines for what presently infests Washington. If someone comes along with conservative bone fides AND proof he isn’t already owned by someone else, no one will be happier than me. Till then we all have to live in the real world and play the hand we’ve been dealt. Like it or not Trump is the least bad choice...

No, everything about Cruz is hardly about the Constitution.

But obviously, making money is something to be ashamed about, according to you, or are you just jealous?

You don't even have 1/2 a working brain, so of course you are incapable of any rational thought.

But oh, it is you CRUZ-AID drinkers that have the cult problem; just admit it. You'll feel better when you do.

“But obviously, making money is something to be ashamed about, according to you, or are you just jealous?”

Trump has admitted that he has made money using the gubmint and the policitians. He has always used the gubmint to make his money. He is dirty. Even the Zukerbergs are cleaner than Trump. And 20 times more rich. Trump probably thinks he could not make enough money by buying politicians, so he has decided to become one. Only blind trumpsters cannot see that.

“But oh, it is you CRUZ-AID drinkers that have the cult problem; just admit it. You’ll feel better when you do.”

At least you can parrot back. Cruz is a hundred times more constitutionalist than Trump. Trump is better described as an opportunist who his exploiting his followers by feeding them pseudo-nationalist crap. Even if Trump succeeds, he will do what is best for him, which is to abandon all his “promises” that you cling on to so much. He will leave you high and dry.

Let me put it this way — he will leave you faster than he has left his previous wives.

You really are a piece of work. LOL

It's rather pathetic how you live in such a teensy bubble and how reality is outside of your ken.

I'd feel sorry for you, but you don't deserve any kind of compassion.

Ya’ know... a person can be for someone when he’s a private citizen... and not think twice about it.. especially if you are a businessman and have plenty of money, friends, and keep those friends by saying nice things about them.

THEN... the country you live in and love.. is going to pot around you. You have children and grandchildren.. and suddenly you realize the country is not what it used to be. You stop and take note.. you have money to do something.. and so you decide to do something about this country you love and see going to pot.

You leave your comfortable living.. because you CARE. You decide to do something. You take note of what is causing it and what to do about it. You run for the office of the President of the United States. Suddenly you have a different view.. different thoughts.. different reasons to get up and meet all the people out in this country you want to save. What is past, is past.. right now you want to save us all.

Yep... it’s a new life.. new thinking... new everything. You didn’t plan on it.. you are not a politician... but you know you can fix this country and make it great again!

A perfect analysis.

You put into cogent words what we all think about folks who have an epiphany and change their thinking for the better...and we delight are grateful when we see positive changes in any person, whether he be a famous politician or just a loved family member.

If I was the one who posted Trump is a scumbag who is willing to sellout his country for a dollar - I ‘d be getting flamed right now.
