Someone has to say it: we need common sense laser control and laser free zones.
I hope that we equip our soldiers with goggles for combat that not only protect against lasers, but also against shrapnel. If we don’t, we damned well should when dealing with the Russians or Chinese - they don’t play by the rules, and they don’t give a damn. We’d be dumb as a rock if we don’t understand that and act accordingly.
Who would want to blind a laser? It’s not like they are blowing themselves up and killing innocents.
