That’s Grand Rapids, Michigan.

A blue state that lost thousands of jobs to Mexico and China.

My sis lives nearby. She has her foot in boot so knew she couldn’t stand or walk well enough to attend. Her family is all in for Trump! Grandson who will be just eighteen contacted me the day DT announced. Very excited his first vote will be for Thd Donald. He and friends are hoping to work for campaign as volunteers

MI is blue because of Detroit, Pontiac, Flint and Saginaw demographics, and unions and their retirees.

Grand Rapids, like much of MI now, is non-automotive/union/entitlement and Michiganders want more good jobs here again. It’s a beautiful, fun state and they don’t want to have to leave it..

Michigan is not really a blue state.

We have have a state legislator that is GOP led and currently a Republican Governor (a bit wishy-washy but not horrible).

We have three areas that are blue Detroit, Ann Arbor and Flint and they are the areas that put the state over the top for the Senate and Presidential races by stuffing the ballot boxes.

Two of those areas are rapidly losing power and we have a Secretary of State who is downing her best to shut down voter fraud.

In other words, the state could go for Trump or Cruz but Trump would be more likely.
