I’m for Cruz myself but admit Trump draws crowds similar to O’Mugabe in 2008. I’m not sure how the 1st 3 states will go but I’d like to see the Donald invite Cruz to the Trump tower and make the P/VP deal to consolidate both sides and take the next 16 years, along with a majority House and Senate.

I am pro Trump but agree with you. We need the two together. They are priceless. Trump would probably be a single term er and Cruz would insure another two terms of sanity.

I am curious about the Trump/Cruz dynamic. Cruz is my first choice, but I think both of them have plans for voters on the other side. Even if Trump fades (it could happen - it’s predicted every time he speaks), I think he could swing both the primary and the general election to Cruz if he wanted.

As for Cruz, if Trump is the nominee, I’d rather see Cruz on the Supreme Court than as VP:

Drop Ginsburg - age 82, add Ted Cruz - age 45
Drop Breyer - age 77, add Mike Lee - age 44
Drop Kennedy - age 79, add Sarah Palin - age 51

It would take 30 or more years for America’s enemies to recover from those changes, especially if we can somehow dump Kagan and Sotomayor early.

They already met at Trump’s office in July. Trump also entertained Sarah during that same time. Besides allowing Rinse Prius to drag that worthless piece of paper up to his office, those are the only politicians who have been asked to meeet with him there.

Then we get the news that arah has put her Scottsdale home on the market this week as well.

FWIW, Trump national spokeswoman Katrina Pierson -- who regularly rips a new @sshole in every candidate and media figure she encounters on the air -- is a Texan who worked for Ted Cruz in his first Senate campaign.

If Trump and Cruz did that, they would be very close to getting the nom on the first ballot.

‘I’m for Cruz myself but admit Trump draws crowds similar to O’Mugabe in 2008.’

No reports of fainting yet, or of Trump obnoxiously telling the paramedics how to do their job.

Not really; those people were coming to the rock concerts and marijuana, or free beer, and Obama just happened to show up. He was not the main event.

The first three will tell indeed. The only true polls are the election results.

Cruz has no executive skills and no charisma. He belongs on the Supreme Court.

Cruz would never work for an immoral imposter. Trump and Cruz had met several years before at some place they spoke, don’t remember where.
Don’t forget when Trump started trashing Cruz Rush, Levin and others made the case Trump was trashing him like a leftest would do. And he backed off. Wonder why? Simple, he is a leftist. And he is loved by 30% or so of the gop because he acts like a leftist and says things they want to hear.

Trump draws crowds on his own....period.

O’Mugabe was always an asterisk at large entertainment events, were people were already in attendance for Rock Concerts and the like.

O’Mugabe was never a single draw ticket and they pulled slight of hand tricks, with the media acting as consorts in the whole smoke and mirrors.

I'm for Cruz myself but admit Trump draws crowds similar to O'Mugabe in 2008.

Other similarities are>>>

  1. Trump is a hope and change type candidate. He stole that from 0zero. Trump changed this to "Make America great again" "I will the greatest jobs creating President"
  2. Trump is going to steal tens of millions of low information voters from Dems/Hillary
