Face it, Norm. We have a substantial percentage of the idiocratic electorate who treat the voting process like a major league sporting event. Upholding the Constitution by voting on conservative principle? Pffft. It doesn’t matter who is suited up as long as they look good and talk smack. It doesn’t matter about the consequences or the abysmal actionable outcome since the last election. It’s all about the WIN!...and the leg tingle.

Absolutely. Thats why when the consequenses of their idiocy finally result in the Fallout scenario, I am going to be laughing my ass off.

It’s a silver lining. We can’t stop liberals with ‘Conservative’ velcroed to their well worn sleeves, but we can point the raiders in their direction.

They want it so badly, they should get the full measure of their ‘support’.

Cruz. And I wish he would leave the GOP.

Scream ‘no matter what’ all you like. You helped wreck this country with your lesser evil idiocy. History shows clearly what lesser evil voting resulted in and here you are AGAIN demanding more of it.

Truth upset you? DGAF.

Cruz is sleeping with Goldman Sachs. Doesn’t get any more establishment than Government Sachs. He won’t leave the GOP in a million years.

If you can support Cruz after his campaigning with Amnesty Ryan for Obama’s TPA (etc.) then you should be able to also vote for other candidates against the Hildabeast.

I was once all Cruz myself but it became clear after TPA that Cruz is a career pol playing his part in the beltway theater. Nothing more, nothing less. Sorry.

You are so right about this. But Trump is the only who can actually neutralize Bill Clinton and this poll will change drastically.

The crucial issue is: Which of the candidates will oppose illegal? Immigration is the biggest threat to this country.

“But Trump is the only who can actually neutralize Bill Clinton and this poll will change drastically.”

Before or after he invites him to his wedding?

The same Trump that said Hillary would make a great POTUS?

Interesting graph. The last part is the key. Pre-debate the contest was very close, and if the debate hadn't gone the way it had the election would have been a tossup. Reagan was able to blow the game open with his debate performance. Carter made a strategic blinder by conceding to Reagan the concluding statement, and he hit it out of the park with his "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?" zinger. His debate performance calmed a lot of peoples' unreasonable fears and tipped them into his column.

Say what you will, the 'Rats aren't stupid when it comes to politics. They know the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents and their candidates. They'll keep Shrillary bottled up as much as possible and fight her wars with surrogates and various assorted goons and henchmen. They won't let her pull a Carter blunder.

So you support a massive increase in the broken H-1B program? Cruz did. Cruz’s support of a GOP big donor pet project is a liberal talking point? Interesting.

The “lesser evil” compromises you are making to support Cruz are really no different than what Trump supporters are doing on different issues. Deal with it.

Well you know Mitt Romney was the only Republican who could beat Barry. We had that screamed at us by his fellow liberals here for months.

I don’t know why they wanted Romney so bad considering his policies as Goveror were a mirror for marrys, but those were just details. He was the only guy that could win.

Until he didn’t and all his fellow ‘trade baby lives for votes’ fans drove the rest of the GOP hard left.

So I guess they got what they wanted. Barry kept Abortion, kept Obamacare, kept importing illegals kile the ones Mitt had working in his house...kept a lot of things.

And the GOP liberals gave him the money to do it.

Amazing how wrong these lesser evil types are on EVERYTHING the puke up here on FR.

For me to support Cruz as a lesser evil, logic dictates you consider Cruz evil. Thats a liberal position. Deal with it.

Your right this elecion isn’t about games. So it’s imperative that the Consitutional Conservative in this race win. To date, there is only 1 candidate in the field that fits this category.

I can NOT believe there are that many STUPID DemoRats in the USA.....have the been under a rock for 7 years""""".....

There are many, and some even testify to being a Christian. As a Christian that is hard for me to take...and a friendship breaker.

My motto: You are know by the company you keep, and that is scriptural which makes me uncomfortable with them being so gullibal and ignorant.

For me.......A Christian has nothing in common with a Democrat, the two are exact opposites.

Cruz is my Candidate, but I would pull the lever for Trump if he gets the nomination.

My worry is that Trump is just as likely to run as an Ind against Cruz in the general election!

As a Cruzier also, I wish they would both abandon the GOP completely and destroy it once and for all.

Lots of people here think that two direct competitors are in some double secret alliance but they will clash eventually. Cruz s the Conservative. That should be what matters on a conservative site. He’s the best man to run the country.

But it isn’t. Because people don’t actually want a conservative in power. They want the character on a TV show. As Tadslos said, they treat elections like sporting events instead of existential realities for America.

That group will be posting on this thread, under the guise of chiding anyone for selecting the lesser of two evils. They are the purests who will be blind to the end they are selecting by withdrawing from the fray.

Wrong. I supported Cruz as my POTUS candidate for long time. Have no problem voting for him against Hildabeast but am now no longer under any illusions that he is a transformative figure.

Cruz is a sleeping with GS globalist (H1-B, enabling Obama TPA, etc.) who knows who butters his bread. I’ll buy you a clue, it isn’t us.

Fact remains if you don’t agree with every position Cruz takes you are making “lesser evil” compromises to support him.

Since you don’t do “leser evil” compromises please do tell why you support the Cruz plan to massively increase H1-B visas so the liberals at Disney can fire even more Americans and hire foreigners.
