I’m more worried about the 30+% who refuse to vote.

Count me as a part of that group. It’s Ted Cruz or bust. I will not subject myself to being forced to voting for the lesser of 2 liberals again.

...and their dubious reasons some couched in conservative and religious rhetoric.

In reality it doesn’t get more childish than what they refuse to acknowledge, the I’ll show you just how fed up I am idea. Leaving the rest of the nation to suffer because of their hissie fit. If you lose in the Primary, you lose. Why not make it a double and lose in the General? Not just for two years but four and six, what a concept. Surely their has to be a better way of waking the sleeping giant?

Trump will draw out many who have given up on voting.
McAmnesty vs Obozo
Romneycare vs Obozo
Nothing to vote FOR, just against, does not motivate people

Trump motivates people

That's the most important part of the poll...

Clinton will get her 35 to 40 percent of brain dead libtard zombies...

I's love to see the breakout of the ' refuse to vote ' part of the poll...

My guess is a lot of them are Sanders supporters who refuse to vote for Hillary...

I guess that's why we are hearing a lot lately about Sanders team reaching out to Trump supporters...

I believe the refused part of the 30%+ is not refusing to vote, but refusing to say who they’ll vote for. This makes it much more interesting. Also consider that Hill gets around 37% here and o’s approval is in the 40’s.

Those who won’t vote for (or against) a candidate are persuaded to vote for (or against) a friend or neighbor activist.

Many, many people vote because their friend or neighbor asked them to. Whether R or D will have the best ground game is the question.

Some activists are more effective salesmen for their candidate than others. A good salesman finds out what the customer wants to buy and sells that feature.

When Jim Webb was running in VA, he identified leftist volunteers who did not bathe, had BO, jewelry in weird body places, weird clothing, etc. He did not want those activists in his campaign. He paid them to work Chicago’s suburbs against Roskam. They actually lost the Democrat votes in that race and Roskam won. In contrast, local volunteers who dressed normal gained votes for Duckworth.

The same happens on our side. We have people who say “My candidate is pro-life no exceptions. You can’t vote for my candidate unless you are pro-life no exceptions.” That loses votes for their candidate.

That group will be posting on this thread, under the guise of chiding anyone for selecting the lesser of two evils. They are the purests who will be blind to the end they are selecting by withdrawing from the fray.
