I wonder if these are the Stinger missiles left over from the Soviet Afghan war. I remember the heat seeking batteries died years ago, that the CIA funded and supplied to the Mujahideen (now Al Qaeda) years ago. Raetheon made them. 600 were unaccounted for when the Soviets left.
