Iowa's pretty darn liberal too, in a populist, drunk-on-corn-squeezin's sort of way.

So, okay, move up a more conservative Western State like Oklahoma close to Iowa's date, and pair NH with South Carolina. Voila'! "Balance"!

Oklahoma is more Southern than Western. We’re a Southwestern state culturally.
