Right on and no where does it say that both parents have to be US citizen
I did mean she. I am so aggravated by the ridiculous change of subject.
Trump better keep this discussion going because on substance he is weak.
We’re on the same side. Cruz is eligible.
Of course she was. Where do you get it that she gave up her citizenship? Do you have any proof of it?
That’s correct. I don’t think I implied otherwise. At least, I hope not.
Yes, his mother was a citizen.
“Consider these facts:”
You say nothing about his mother. Doesn’t the mother’s American citizenship make him an American citizen (give or take the fog)?
FACTUAL CRUZ CITIZENSHIP TIMELINE
(Everything presented in this timeline is a matter of public record. All of it is based upon publicly reported events, public statements made by Rafael Cruz, Ted Cruz, officials with the Elect Ted movement or US and Canadian officials."
1974 The Cruz family moves to the United States when Ted is approximately four years old. Rafael Cruz has publicly stated that he remained a citizen of Canada until he renounced his Canadian citizenship when he applied for and became a Naturalized citizen in 2005. As a result, his wife and son were also Canadian citizens, his son being born a citizen of Canada in 1970.

Well, I think anyone would find it hard to argue with that, unless we were talking about a test tube baby.
I can tell by your previous comment how agitated you are. You were spouting a meaningless statement.
What change of subject are you talking about ? The issue is whether Ted Cruz was born a US Citizen. He wasn't. Even his father says so. His father says his wife had become a Canadian citizen prior to Ted's birth and that Ted was then born in Canada.
How can you DENY FACTS ?
True. It is clear SHE could run for President. But did she move to Canada and did she become a Canadian citizen prior to giving birth to Ted ?
At the time of Ted's birth, what country was she a citizen of ?
Really? Are you sure it isn't your comprehension skills?

Note the reference to Natural Law in the first sentence of our Declaration of Independence.
It is crystal clear that the Founding Fathers used the Natural Law definition of 'natural born Citizen' when they wrote Article II. By invoking "The Laws of Nature and Nature's God" the 56 signers of the Declaration incorporated a legal standard of freedom into the forms of government that would follow.
President John Quincy Adams, writing in 1839, looked back at the founding period and recognized the true meaning of the Declaration's reliance on the "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God." He observed that the American people's "charter was the Declaration of Independence. Their rights, the natural rights of mankind. Their government, such as should be instituted by the people, under the solemn mutual pledges of perpetual union, founded on the self-evident truth's proclaimed in the Declaration."

What does all of that say about one Cuban and One American citizen who move to Canada and become Canadian citizens, and give birth to a child in Canada ?
I showed you where. But I was waiting for someone to contest it with some actual proof. Which there is, btw.
The kind of arguments I have thrown out are going to be the kind that will come up more and more if this issue isn't settled.
All it would have taken is someone to say that Ted's father is not versed in immigration/naturalization laws and that his 'thinking' that his wife was only a Canadian citizen and could not be allowed to keep both her US Citizenship and Canadian is wrong. (and I have proof for that as well)
But nobody did.
Maybe now they will.
The U.S. as I understand it.
