One experience was in an airport bathroom. She had her foot in the sink! What the h*ll! Why do they wash their feet in an airport? It's not like she was walking around the airport barefoot.

RV parks have "dump stations" where RVers dump their sewage holding tanks. They provide a garden hose for washing out dump hoses and spillage. A bunch of these Muslims stood there at the (sewage)"dump station" to wash their feet and there were public showers right across from the station.
Disgusted? Never mind the feet.
You should have told her to concentrate on her hands, after wiping barehanded.
Muslims have to do a washing ritual when they go to the bathroom.
If they fart while going through the ritual, they have to begin all over.
