Back to Videos Trump: "Marco Has A Lot Of Good Points About Ted Cruz's Feelings On Amnesty" Posted on January 10, 2016

CHUCK TODD: You said Sen. Cruz was "for amnesty." Of all people, what is the evidence on him?

DONALD TRUMP: Number one, he worked for Bush... he worked for him, he was heavy for amnesty. If you look at Rubio go after him, Rubio and Bush are both claiming each other were for amnesty, and Marco has a lot of good points as to Ted's feelings on amnesty.

The media currently allows Trump to suck all the oxygen out the room with the crap that comes out of his mouth.

One wonders if that will persist if the Donald is the candidate in the general.

That's our Cruz! Next he will be for an import tax. This campaigning stuff is easy, all you have to do is ride around on Trump's coattails yelling "Me Too!"

Say anything do anything. Like your guy Cruz?

Cruz wasn’t talking about deporting 11 million illegals, wasn’t talking about walls, wasn’t talking about carpet bombing ISIS a few months ago.

He is copying Trump’s rhetoric and tone and hoping to inherit his supporters in a disingenuous and pathetic sucking up to him.

Well if Cruz DOES come out for something as economically ignorant as an “import tax” - which I doubt he will - I’ll have to revisit my support for him.

Trump has turned the corner on “tone”, saying vague little niceties about opponents/former opponents.

You've heard of a thing called "studying history" right? Perhaps you should try it. It might better inform you as to who really was - or was not - first to the party.

Trump was the fist to suggest building a wall? Not.

Trump was the first to suggest deporting illegals? Not.

Trump was the first to suggest destroying ISIS? Not.

True. Trumps claimed credit for all - but it's just more B.S. that he likes to spew.

Please, Cruz could be killing and eating puppies in front of schoolgirls and you would suddenly support teaching young girls how to survive at the dog pound.

the “import tax” would be on goods that US companies are manufacturing in China - to encourage them to bring their factories back to America. Free trade is great, but offshoring of America’s manufacturing jobs in not free trade

The blood-letting will cease by April. The nomination will be wrapped up by then.

If you cannot handle the mild barbs Trump takes at Cruz, how would you survive the absolute beating in store for Cruz if he made it to the general. He won’t but it’s a hypothetical.

Obviously, in a general election, the media would not give Trump free, nonjudgmental publicity to smear his opponent. Trump is a populist, moderate RINO, who would make a better president than a left wing RINO or a true Democrat, but I am still hoping that Republicans nominate a true conservative candidate who has a more consistent record of deeds matching words.
