The good news... I guess... is that the UN generally tries to avoid giving power to someone from a superpower nation.

The first was from England, but after that: Norway, Sweden, Burma, Austria, Peru, Egypt, Ghana, and now South Korea.

Unfortunately, I do see a note that Ban Ki-Moon intends to relinquish the position after his term ends... 31 December 2016. Oy.
