Mom Becca Edwards is "pissed" about a racist remark that her state's governor made, and she's calling him out on it, offering her own biracial family as an example of how very wrong he is.
Maine Gov. Paul LePage issued his offensive comment at a town hall meeting in Bridgton on Jan. 6 while speaking about the influx of heroin in the Pine Tree State. "These are guys with the name D-Money, Smoothie, Shifty -- these types of guys -- they come from Connecticut and New York, they come up here, they sell their heroin, they go back home," the Republican blasted.
"Incidentally, half the time they impregnate a young white girl before they leave, which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue we have to deal with down the road."
Though the crowd at the town meeting didn't immediately react, social media's response was swift -- and seething. The Portland Press Herald reports that Marlon Marshall, Hillary Clinton's director of state campaigns and political engagement, issued a statement calling LePage's comments "racist rants," while Maine Democratic Party Chairman Phil Bartlett dubbed them "outrageous" and Michael Tyler, the Democratic National Committee's director of African-American media, declared them "disgusting."
But in Edwards's now-viral Facebook response, the self-described "white girl in Maine," took it one step further and called for LePage's ouster. "Last week the governor in Maine, my state, suggested to the world that if one were to see me (the white girl) and my daughter (the biracial girl) walking down the street, that she is a product of my involvement with a drug dealer from out of state. And even worse, that she wasn't wanted," wrote the mother in her Jan. 9 post, which has been shared more than 216,000 times in just two days.

And this woman is exactly NOT what the Governor was talking about. And you know it.

This governor sounds as stupid as Obama and Rahm and the left blaming the Chicago gun violence on “Indiana and their red state lax gun laws”.
Geez, talk about denying reality.
And I will throw in that of the hundreds of white wimmin with mulatto offspring I have encountered, not a single one was married to the father of their excretions that I could see (those in my own family included).
No man, no ring, no problem, I guess.
If anything this dynamic speaks not to the utter failure of mainstream black values but the rapid devolution of white mainstream values. No one is forcing these wimmin to have sex with those criminals. The parents of those wimmin failed.
I have adopted a number of these “excretions” and they are upstanding citizens. Humans are humans and you sir, are reprehensible.
Parents do their offspring a grave, grave disservice to bring them into the world unwanted.
That is what every one of those fathers has done, and probably some of the mothers too.

Calling innocent human beings excretions is reprehensible.
Every father of every “bastard” from the beginning of time has caused a burden.
Many mothers too.
But the children are not excretions. They are human and of God.
You are reprehensible.
