CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz ramped up his attacks against GOP rival Donald Trump on Tuesday, accusing the billionaire businessman of having "New York values" and questioning his foreign policy credentials.
It was the latest round in an escalating rivalry between the two outsider candidates, who are locked in a virtual tie in polls in the early-voting state of Iowa. Cruz's sharper rhetoric shows that the detente between the two has ended as they fight to win over voters less than a month before the state's kick-off caucuses.

So, when Trump says negative things about Cruz’s positions, he’s “worried”, “scared”, “wetting his pants”...how about when Ted is saying negative things about Trump’s positions?

I was hoping Trump would attack Cruz. Trump thinks conservatives are stupid based on the people he sees at his rallies and reads about in New York newspapers. Conservatives care about substance. Cruz destroys Trump on substance.
If you watched the “State of the Mind,” we now know that everyone understands that there is a deep pile of do-doo straight ahead. It looked like a tin-pot North Korea applaud-fest. Obama showed that there isn’t a stitch of clothing on the Man...Trump wants to set the stage for things to be straightened out- Legit....I don’t think that he has the temperament to work with these imbeciles that rule Washington. Better to have a strong and lasting influence on the positive force of success and money creation. Cruz will not dither with the ‘fraid of their own shadows, nor the bully/wussies who watch closely to take advantage of our weakness. We can slap the bullies and Trump will support Cruz, if it means that there is a fix to the maladjusted economic fakery. Nuf Said...
