LaVoy Finicum, one of the Citizens for Constitutional Freedom members occupying the Malheur Wildlife Refuge in Oregon, appeared before the media yesterday to say members of the group will travel 30 miles north to the town on Burns on Friday night for a community meeting.
The meeting, at a location yet to be determined, will take place at 7pm and give the group from the refuge an opportunity to explain to the community why they are at the refuge and when they will leave.
Finicum also led the media on a tour of buildings at the wildlife refuge to show how the federal government left them in disrepair and the group now occupying the refuge is fixing them and will leave them in better shape than before.
Meanwhile, the "Portland Oregonian/Oregon Live" media organization has put out a series of stories painting a picture of Harney County residents being afraid, living in fear, seeing strangers in cars with out of state license plates etc. etc.
One story speaks of a family having loaded guns ready to use.
That must play to the phobias of Portlandia quite well.
Another thing the media has been doing a lot of is hyping Sheriff Dave Ward, who has shut off communication with the people at the refuge.
The Citizens for Constitutional Freedom believe Ward is under the thumb of the federal government and there have been reports published online (Conservative Treehouse) identifying Ward as a former federal employee.
Ammon Bundy and those with him plan to come out and meet folks at a public meeting Friday night. Will the FBI come out of their compound at Burns Municipal Airport then or anytime soon?
Something else is brewing in Harney County. The arrival of person calling himself a "US Superior Court judge".
Bruce Doucette of Denver told the media he will convene a grand jury of 25 Harney County citizens to hear evidence against the federal government and decide if charges are warranted.
I should call myself a judge and travel the country convicting the government of crimes.
I think this sheriff is solid proof we need to elect people on every level who really understand the constitution is about RESTRICTING the government.
I mean, I understand the sheriff is in a tough place, but it’s only tough because he lacks clear understanding of his role to protect the constitution.
Gosh, I wish I could be there. I would write up all the details of the goings on and submit them as an amica brief for consideration by an attorney/declaration/affidavit-and distribute them en masse.
Can HOA board members and the management companies they dump their responsibilities off to, be included in those levels of government who need to understand their limit of power?
No. If I take your meaning, those organizations shouldn’t exist.
The Sheriff is a former BLM thug. He was one of the witnesses for the prosecution agains’t the Hammonds. He’s not in a tough place.
You need to get back to Trump bashing where at least there is some entertainment value to your posts.
It’s understandable that you wouldn’t even catch that my post was highly critical of Sheriff Snake. My criticism of him is the same error that leads to Trump worship.
No you weren’t. You had no clue. As usual. LOL!
Aren’t those voluntary agreements to submit to a local tyranny?
