Cruz voted for TPA and that one is a mystery (so is the language of the bill). He fought against Corker tooth and nail and only voted for it as a procedural move so he could attack it again (as it was obviously going to pass anyway). So please stop bringing that up.

Cruz is no where near open borders and in fact, since Trump wants to immediately let back in ‘good workers’ I would argue Cruz is perhaps stronger on illegal invaders than Trump.

Trump is better at shoving the media’s face back in their own crap than anyone. And that is really important. But you cannot with any honesty argue he is as strong a conservative as Cruz. Given Trump’s history I worry he is just telling us what we want to hear.

I can vote for either one. I would prefer to see Cruz as President but Trump would probably do better in the general election. It would be much closer with Cruz.

My qualifications for president of the United States are rather narrow: Is he or she Godly, does he or she love us, can he or she do the job, and finally would they kill a duck and put him in a pot and make him a good duck gumbo?

Nice. Wise choice.

I would prefer Cruz/Sessions, or Cruz/Robertson. But I could live with Trump/Cruz.

If you have to put more thought than that into it have at it or have a need to psychoanalyze it you may want to ask yourself why.

Why is his opinion more important than yours, if it is the same?

I can differentiate in public where I have seen increasing numbers of individuals speaking Arabic with beards, clearly not Robertson.

Doesn’t surprise me both being very religious men but that won’t play well in the general election. Old Phil has a habit of saying what’s on his mind. Usually not politically correct. Democrats and the MSM will pounce on it.

This is entirely understandable, and also entirely short sighted.

Expecting the POTUS to do your believing for you, is at best so Old Testament.

In fact God warned against the human-king model.

Trump is embracing the vox populi proxy to vox dei, which to work needs the US people as a whole to come back into live play here. By tossing an endorsement to Cruz here (at least before Cruz gets nominated if he does) then he detracts from the Trump deal dynamic. A deal not entered into is certainly not a deal as good as it could otherwise have been.

Surely not on your plagiarized vanity threads posted as news.

Simple article Humblegunner.. nothing more nothing less. I found it amusing. You're reading way to much into this.

As for me I have my own opinion(s)and they're in your face to the point if asked so most folks I know learned not to ask because PC is not in my vocabulary. I'll listen to what others have to say but I really don't give shxt if they agree with me or not. But concerning your question: Why is his opinion more important than yours, if it is the same? Why would you care?

And actually I am remembering why I am getting irritated at the idea of being satisfied with politics as usual.

We don’t need any secular official to tell us it is okay to believe on the Lord for all He is worth. That model is going down right NOW and the result is people whining, for example, that God can’t be in schools. When actual experience (and I’m seeing it on Facebook) is that yes! KIDS can bring God just fine into schools and no they don’t have to be master debaters either. But parents have to get off of their “proxy” mindsets and quit waiting for Caesar to do it for them. It might have been better for Phil to point this and to say for that reason he is going to stump for God to be elected in our hearts and say that this is going to matter vastly more than whether Cruz or Trump or even Rubio occupied the White House.

We need to be looking closer at the Democratic race. As Trump said, hard to believe that Bernie is running as strongly as he is, since he is who he is. But so he is. They may have to bring in Joe Biden in relief.

I like this man’s political views, but I can’t figure out why someone would want to look like THAT.
