Well....lets just take your point about margin loans.
Obviously, Cruz’s investment account is with Goldman. Mine is with TD Ameritrade. I too have used margin loans but I use them frequently. That loan comes from TD Bank. A Canadian Bank.
All this is smoke and mirrors.
The New York values quip that Cruz used is common in the South and Midwest. has zip to do with 9/11 and predates it by 100 years.

No, Ted was playing good politics by trying to deflect the matter away from himself and onto Trump. Well, after 8 yrs of Obama, America is waking up and Cruz knows it and he let it get to him. It wasn’t just Ted’s words, it was hid demeanor and body language that gave him away.
