I have watched and enjoyed almost every Tarantino movie, but there was no way I was going to watch this.

I few years ago I saw the trailer for the film Hanna and was very intrigued and intended to see it in the theater. Then I read an interview with the director where he said that all Republicans are stupid and racist. So I changed my mind and didn’t go. Of course, the film tanked. Why would any rational person do what he did, and anger half (or more, of his potential audience? What’s the gain?

Most Tarantino movies have a dark style of humor amongst the blood and violence and foul language that I also enjoy to a point. Maybe its also the shock factor. At the same time, upon walking out one realizes the movies are really just entertaining crap with no real virtues.
