Not a secret, he’s said he donated heavily to both sides. He’s said he got special consideration. He’s also said, this is the system, broken, crappy, but he worked within it.
This insider view without being an insider is one of his greatest assets. He knows how it works, knows where the bodies are buried, and has a shot at fixing it.
So that makes it OK? Then it must have been OK for Code Pink to donate to al Qaeda in Iraq, and for Obama’s admin to fund ISIS. After all, they have probably given more to their hair dressers, blah, blah, blah...
This is how Obama came to power. We heard the same excuses from his supporters to every warning we raised about his background and his real estate deals. His base was willing to overlook each and every character flaw and ethics violation- while condemning the minor and often even imaginary flaws of everyone else... simply because he crafted a simplistic and vague message that his humiliated base longed to hear. And so long as he keeps saying it they remain full of hope in spite of disaster.
It’s also how most every other tragic mistake got elected since the French Revolution. Populist rhetoric, delivered simply, like a commercial for beer. Pull a tab, pop a top. Pour. Watch them salivate and buy your beer. They can’t help themselves; they don’t think of consequences.
Yep. Follow the money and the actions. Words mean little when it comes to a candidate that has never held public office. I will be voting for the conservative which is Ted Cruz.
Cruz is a proven conservative, spent years fighting for conservative principles.

You mean when he voted for the Corker bill?
Or maybe it was when he voted for TPA?
Or perhaps it was when he pushed for a huge increase in H1B visas?
No more lesser of two evils.
Hope you don`t get your reality changed by future laughs.
“:^)
It’s not just who he’s donated too.....it’s where his money is.....He’s invested in Goldman Saks .and the Keystone Pipeline as well as Google and several other “interesting” adventures which is why he treads softly on some and harsher on others. The guys a “thug” businessman.
My reading too. Unless shown otherwise, I`ll vote accordingly.
