Ted Cruz camp: 'Blow to Sarah Palin' if she endorses Donald Trump
Washington Times ^ | 01/19/2016 | David Sherfinski

A spokesman for Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign said Tuesday it would be a "blow" to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin if she endorsed businessman Donald Trump for president.

"I think it [would] be a blow to Sarah Palin, because Sarah Palin has been a champion for the conservative cause, and if she was going to endorse Donald Trump, sadly, she would be endorsing someone who's held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion," Cruz campaign spokesman Rick Tyler said on CNN's "New Day."

Really. Just gotta move on. I wish all the candidates would elevate the discourse and not lower it. We don’t need smear. We need passionate rhetoric explaining positions. Trust in the power of persuasion and not in the ooze of mud-slinging.

It has become apparent that PC bull occurs on both sides of the isle.

Cruz camp is saying to Sarah, you either think, do, say, or believe what WE want, or we will attack you. Must toe the line, or you are not a REAL conservative, a TRUE conservative, a REAL Christian, blah, blah, blah.

You will know them by their fruits. Labels are NOTHING.

Palin is using the money conservatives gave her through buying her books to fly Trump around in her private jet.

WOW! What a stupid, stupid statement!

Sarah does NOT have a private jet and certainly Trump does NOT need someone's private jet to get around.

Good grief, the Cruzbots are melting down as they see Rafael Edward Cruz continue to fall.

Cruz camp bullying Sarah Palin. As I live and breathe. Vile.

she would be endorsing someone who's held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion

17 years ago, idiot. Only 13 years before Ronald Wilson Reagan was elected he signed a California law permitting abortions when doctors determined that pregnancy endangered the physical or mental health of the mother. A right to abortion...by Reagan...6 years before Roe v. Wade. But as president, Reagan was considered "pro-life."

Notice how they don't mention Ted Cruz' "progressive" views on immigration when he helped George W. Bush craft his amnesty bill. Ted Cruz was for amnesty before he was against it. Phony to the core, and an establishment Trojan Horse, just like his NWO wife. FAIL

All of it happening right before our eyes. It’s a slow motion con job that we’re powerless to stop. Well, voters in Iowa can stop it.

Sad news if Palin traded in her conservative core for NY values. But since her reality show kinda flopped, it wouldn’t be surprising for her to jump on the LIEberal bandwagon in order to stay relevant.

This Trump-Cruz bashing is a bunch of silliness. Okay, they both want to win Iowa. I want Trump for President and Cruz for Vice President; Trump doesn’t want this because of some important plans he has after the election, plans I hope will succeed, but Cruz is the second best man for the Presidency.

I think it hurts Cruz in the state he most needs to win: Iowa.

It also cuts into a large constituency of his, big enough to put Trump over the top.

I still prefer Cruz, but IMHO, this would be a master stroke, game over kind of thing for Trump.

And Palin didn’t win. Its like getting a endorsement from Jack Kemp.

Her endorsements in the non presidential campaigns have a pretty decent record of winning

Cruz camp is saying she should think, do, say or believe WHAT SHE’S BEEN TOUTING. That’s the point of the Cruz camp’s comments.

If she wants to say she’s a Christian and all the values that come with it, then back a guy is is 180 degrees from that, she’s a hypocrite.

both Cruise and trump are good choices for president but would be radically different from each other on what they would be able to get done and what they want to get done.

Trump would be a slash and burn president and is feared by most of the insiders that do crony capitalism because he knows personally most the players. I also think he can handle the economic melt down that I think is going to hit shortly after any republican takes office.

Cruze has his strength. I think that he would be better at making long term changes with in are bureaucracy in Washington. I also think he will do an better job with supreme court appointments

Both of these are good contenders for president unlike the democrats who put up a criminal (Hillary Clinton) and a communist (Bernie sanders)

The republican party is going to win this election web only have to as our selves what exactly do we want from are candidate not who has the best chance to win.

I think that these are the same questions that Sara Palin is asking herself.
