You need to think a little deeper. I don't trust Cruz or any republican on immigration. But Trump is the least trustworthy on the issue, including Hillary and Sanders.

Trump bashed Romney as too tough on immigration and even since his campaign started he's supported AMNESTY MULTIPLE TIMES.

And even at his "toughest" he supports "touchback amnesty." This where illegals set foor in Mexico, then they can legally get on board the gravy train.

That is bad, but it's never going to happen. With all the cost and logistical problems, and then turn around and let them all back in? That's a crazy proposition and it's never going to happen.

Trump has only taken this "pseudo-tough" approach on immigration since he got attention for it. Trump has always said things for attention. He changes them and swings back and forth.

Trump also has a HUGE vested financial interest in unlimited illegal immigration, because he's a real estate developer.

So, what you are saying is, you just want to hear someone say certain words, and you don't care if it's a lie and you have a 100% chance of being stabbed in the back?

Why not just stick with McConnell and Boehner then? They are not going to be any worse than Trump on immigration.

‘Trump also has a HUGE vested financial interest in unlimited illegal immigration’

Well, that has been his platform all along, how can people be so stupid?

Pretty weird trying to equate Trump’s business with illegals. You’re stretching it, a lit.

He took a bug risk with his hard-line stance and it could have easily backfired. Especially when ALL the other candidates were soft on it, as per RNC instructions. Even Cruz. And Cruz stayed that way for months, until he saw how popular Trump’s stance was.

That disingenuousness I don’t trust. Cruz has been all over the map, even wanting legal status and being against Prop 187.

There’s more risk with him, since his donors want payback.
