I don’t think he’s a practicing or believing anything, but to him Islam represents the purest form of hatred of the West, and and is why he identifies with it. And I do think he sees himself as someone meant to bridge the gap between the Sunni and Shiite groups so that there will be one unified Islam that will crush the West.
It is also known that he has been making inquiries about being United Nations Secretary-General. He cannot in theory do this because a citizen of a member of the Security Council cannot be Secretary-General. However, I wouldn’t put anything beyond him, including taking back his Indonesian citizenship so that he could do this.
Besides the ones stated in the article;
He claimed to be Muslim in a TV interview, then was reminded that he was a Christian by the interviewer.
He stated that the Muslim call to prayer was the sweetest sound he had ever heard.
He repeated the Shahada for interviewers to show that he knew what it was.
And he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, which is also a religious position.
In their eyes, that is good enough proof for the vast majority of Muslims.
Obama is a SHIITE.
