Trump is drawing support from roughly 1/3 of people across the board. Cruz is getting all his support from one demographic: self identified conservatives. If there is a cult of personality it is with Cruz’s single issue social conservatism voters.

But really no point in tearing down the supporters of the other candidate. Support who you want. This is a primary. Let’s get the best candidate we can to beat Hillary. If Cruz can’t beat a political novice like Trump he’ll never beat the Hillary/MSM machine. May the best man win

I have heard Obama described as an empty vessel when he was running, which your could fill in anything you wanted. Perot was that way. Seems like Trump is anything you want. You are right about it being the primary. But you need to ask yourself why you would ditch a true conservative for someone who has always been a moderate/liberal, at least up to a couple of years ago.

As I said in an earlier post, I will hold my nose and vote for Trump if he is nominated. But the last one I was really proud to vote for was Ronald Reagan. I just have terrible misgivings about DT.
