That was a big part of the discussion. One of the guests actually said “Regan had 30 years to stew in the juices of Conservatism”. Or something close.
Like it or not Trump is, at best, a recent convert to the Conservative agenda. That’s just the truth. And many here apparently have blinders on to that fact.
I will vote for Trump in the general if he’s on the ballot. As a Republican. I will vote for Cruz in the primary. A Trump Presidency would be very interesting.
It’s been said, many times, that the GOP elites would come after Trump full bore if it looked like he might win. This panel of so called Conservatives is playing right into their hands. If somehow Cruz managed to pull out a couple of the early primaries then they will turn their attacks to him.
Since Jeb is so weak it looks like the GOPe’s man is Rubio. They’ll do whatever they can to bring him up in the polls.
At least she’s straightened up the hooker clothes and hairstyle she wore at the debates.
