These guys want to take out Trump. If they succeed, they will then go after Cruz. And then all will be back to where it should have been all along, with either Rubio or Bush winning the nomination.

Perhaps a demonstration is in order.

Well I’ll refer you to my 46 for additional reasons why I believe Trump is not.

But to answer your question, I am a Cruz supporter. I believe he has provided real proposals to deal with illegal immigration, that have a snowballs chance in hell of actually being enacted (mass deportations will never happen, as soon as the media starts running photos that look just like the Elian Gonzalez raid, it’s over). I also like that he stood up to the dregs in congress....even though he knew it was a losing battle, simply because it was the right thing to do and he had told his constituents that he would. I like that he has an understanding of the constitution and I completely trust his selections to the Supreme Court...an issue just as important as immigration.

Cheers.

Do not claim I have said things that I never said. I did not state that Trump is a pure Conservative. I have used relative terms such as more conservative or less conservative. Trump is far more conservative that Glenn Beck, Kristol, Rubio, Jeb, and Kasich.

No conservative would ever promote amnesty, support for illegal aliens, and the importing of immigrants such as Syrians whose value systems and culture clashes with ours. No country can survive unless they protect their borders and are selective who they admit. This is Sociology 101.

I’ve been looking all over for this article but couldn’t remember the name of it or how to find it.

Thanks for posting!

Fair enough. Thanks for your thoughts. I will, of course, vote for Cruz if he is the candidate.

The jury is out on what anyone will actually do if elected.

I have concerns about Cruz and his ability to win nationally. He has alienated members of congress which will cost him in the general. It shows a lack of understanding about how the game is played. That could cost him significantly in the national election.

And I worry about the fact that Cruz has never managed anything but campaigns. I favor candidates who have management experience, governors, successful businessmen, etc. I admit that bias as a free market kinda guy.

Regardless, I think the stars may be aligning for good vs evil in this round!

Thanks, please share with friends/family.

There have been notable revolutions in history. This election is a new paradigm/revolution re our voting choice for president. The GOPe cartel is panicking that we will pick our president not them.

We finally get to pick our candidate. not a cartel of elite Beltway Ivy Leaguers picking our candidate. A cartel, which has zero interest in us and our families. They only care about maintaining their power and control. They are terrified that we get to pick our candidate.

Defining Conservatism...if it does not start with Christian pro life pro family values, it`s dead.

Ummm...I never said you said that. Perhaps you meant to reply to someone else?

But interestingly you said trump is more conservative than several people. Based on what? I have a number of examples, no exhaustive obviously, of things he could have DONE to demonstrate his conservative epiphany is real. But you’ve failed to address that part of my comment in any way.

I agree wholeheartedly with your last paragraph. However, prior to running for office 6months ago, Trump DID support amnesty, there are indications (touch back) that he still does. As far as I know he does not support taking away the illegals goodies, which is the only way you’ll get them to deport. As I said to another, mass deportations will never happen. As soon as the media start running photos and video of terrified children being rounded up by men with guns, it’s over.

So by your own measure of what’s important, trump should cause some concern and has shown no real proclivity to truly embrace conservatism.
Thanks for the civil response, cheers to you.
