Have you EVER seen a time in American History, when so-called Conservatives have attacked a Leading Candidate in the RNC with such venom? They want to destroy the candidate that has the best success of winning the Presidency; because they know that THEY WILL NOT BE IN CHARGE.

It is a plantation mentality. Once you have been paid to just complain, it is hard to go back to actually working to do things better. (Trigger Warning!!!) So to use a War of Northern Aggression analogy, the blacks are the field slaves and the white establishment folks are the house slaves, but they are all slaves to the “system” run by the plantation owners. Trump is leading the Protestant Abolitionists who are going to free the slaves from the plantation owners.
Establishment Republicans prefer a "strategic loss" with any candidate who will keep the multi-Trillion Dollar Uncle Sam Gravy Train running. GOP-e and the media keep getting richer whether Democrats or Republicans are in office.
